...things that you think that other people may not agree with.I found the Matrix to be an exciting piece of eye candy. Yes, perhaps it is a small cloth bag of horseshit, but it is nicely packaged and comes with a story compared to the plain old lumps of hs that fill the streets from other vendors.
I happen to be a huge Sci Fi fan, and consider myself reasonably inteligent. No, this was no art house tour de force, but it was an exciting, appealing, system workout, display of eye candy, that while not the last word in thought provoking art, certainly gave me more to chew on than say "Lost in Space"
Accept it for what it is and don't try to squish it into the round hole you believe that all "Film" should fit into. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
