I am a big Mike Leigh fan (thought "Secrets and Lies" and "Naked" were about as good as films get), so after hearing about "T-T" topping the NY Film Critics Poll I thought I'd catch it in Los Angeles during my holiday vacation. Turns out it was released for only one week (before Xmas) in the big three U.S. cities for Oscar consideration and won't be put into general release until Jan. 14. And it will probably be Springtime before it shows up in my podunk Cowtown. I hate winter!Also, I got my DVD of "Run Lola Run" and I think it kicks mad monkeybutt on most of the films in that list. Style over substance for sure, but oh what style!
