Yes, it is true. A remake of Bedazzled is in the works. With
Elizabeth Hurley, no less. Jesus, at least the producers could
get someone who can act. Well, I suppose it is debatable whether
Racquel Welch could act (but she did (still does?) have a body).
And just thinking about the above makes me want to start ranting
about the intellectual and artistic vacuity of the average
Hollywood producer/executive. Where are the Hitchcocks, the
Kubricks, the Wilders? No wonder I dont go to the movies
anymore. Everything is either a remake, a copy of something that
sold well, or is aimed at the pimple cream crowd. Or maybe I'm
just getting old??? Mike
