Actually, I now remember seeing the Death and the Maiden (one of my favorite pieces of music, coincidentally) and being not too impressed, although very well made, for sure.Besides Johnny Depp I get to see Lena Olin, so not all is lost yet.
This, however, might be my last Polanski for awhile. Having seen the Rosemarie's Baby not too long ago, I think I am closing the book on him - at least for now. Double too bad for the creator of the Knife.
