If you already seen Ninja Scroll you can try "Ninja Resurrection" It's not a sequel but it seems to have more of everything that was in "Ninja Scroll" It's a series also... my friends just finished watching episode 3.
Interesting observation on the sword fight in "Ninja Scroll"
I'll look for it in widescreen here, however, I don't know the
original Japanese Title. The animations sections here in Japan
are vast and asking the clerk "Do you have an animation videos with Samurais in them" doesn't help.J
