Yes, he did crank it up QUITE a bit!! And that was the cause for sure. Anyway, as far as doing more in an automobile, most options involve some compromise or warranty of vehicle disturbance (I know I know about Magnuss...warranty act etc. etc.) but I really do not want to waste time arguing with anal service advisors.

Clarity of sound is missing. Volume is certainly there. I dont need any more volume in the car at least. beats or any other sound is not as sharp or distinct. And I am not being picky. For example I am so much more picky at home. AS you know everything is relative. You, with your connoisseur ear, will probably find my home system mediocre at best at least for some kinds of music though others may be okay. For me, it is okay for everything. The car is okay at present only for radio though radio reception too sucks because the "in glass" stealth antenna still has some way to go. i used to have a regular antenna in my 96 Mazda but my 99 BMW is, I guess, too bloody modern. Sometimes I wish they gave us the technology a few years later.
