...its a distinctly overrated black and white low budget film school project. Its less strange than simply strangely photographed, simplistic and pointless. I think a lot of the hype was due to its grainy high contrast B&W look, its small budget and the general trend to fawn over anything that smacks of "independent". Unfortunately those things don't automatically translate into a good film.joe
