AMC is running a retrospective and I could use a recommendation.
I'm mainly interested in the music. I believe that most of these are pretty lame, otherwise.

Don't Knock the Rock
Rock, Rock, Rock ('56 w Alan Freed)
Shake, Rattle & Roll ('56)
The Girl Can't Help It ( '56, Jayne Mansfield)
Mr. Rock and Roll ( '57, Alan Freed)
Let the Good Times Roll (documentary of 50's Rock released in '73)
and not really of this era
but wondering about it:
Head ( '68, Monkees and Psychedelics)
