Any opinions on Almodovar's "Dark Hideouts"?

I loved it. I sometimes love strange movies and fully understand that this miy not be everyone's cup of tea. But I enjoyed it immensely.
Best moment - that's easy. The duet singing of the main character and the Abbess. Trully unbelievable piece of work. For that scene alone - rent it!
So did anyone find it confusing, as the critics seem to believe? I found it to be a nice, somewhat humorous parade (panopticon?) of characters, losely bound together.
A movie no one interested in Euroean film history should miss. Yep, it CAN confuse some...
