Caught the latest Coen Bros. flick this weekend and had a pretty good time laughing. The story is loosely based on Homer's Odyssey and I enjoyed observing the parallels and skews relative to the Greek classic. But note this difference up front: unlike the classic Ulysses, who overcame obstacles by being clever and using his head, George Clooney's "Ulysses" is a lot dumber than he looks (and that is saying something) and survives by sheer luck. This one is not in the same league as the Coens' top efforts like "Fargo", more like "Raising Arizona" meets "Dumb and Dumber", so don't raise your expectations too high. But you could do worse: "Dude, Where's My Car?"
