I didn't really want to see this movie. I thought it was going to be another short history of rock & roll laced with lotsa rock music, free love, people on drugs, and anti-establishment themes. Fortunately for me, it wasn't like that at all. Just a simple story of a boy growing up and having a Pollyanna-like effect on those around him.
