At least it's the first of this summer's releases that seems to be worth the $$$ to go see. On the "strength" of so many bad reviews, I have avoided the others. "Pearl Harbor" is at the theater just a few blocks from my house (right next to an Irish pub); but I have resisted the temptation to drop in. Maybe if I tank up on Guiness next door, I won't care.
BTW, the movie ain't doing well at that theater. I can tell because no one's coming all the way up to my street to park on weekend nights.
