I'm wondering how the director wraps up "Fellowship of the Ring". Seems to me that people who may not be big Tolkien fans could be disappointed if the film ends as the first book does with the breaking of the fellowship, nothing resolved, with a year to wait unil the next film. Lord of the Rings is really just one big novel, not a trilogy. I'm looking forward to LOTR more than any films in a long, long time but wonder if they're going to be as successful as predicted eventhough book sales of LOTR have skyrocketed. It's been probably 20 years since I read LOTR. I'm re-reading it now and still really enjoy it.
