I am still tempted to analyze your "vanila" statement - it is just too close to be coincidental. I mean, even Kubrik was not able to do anything with that log. And after what he did with - and for - Ryan, I thought he could make ANY stump act. Did you impress your date, at least? I hope not.
In that small New York town there are at least twenty good ones showing at any given time, and you just had to step into that "vanila"...
