Are you familiar with Feuillade's escapist serials, "Fantomas" and
"Judex" near the end of World War I? I found Rohmer's "Pauline at
the Beach" enjoyable in the early 1980s. Want to see De Filippo's
"The Seven Deadly Sins"-1952; an Italian-French production; it has
7 episodes, each one illustrating a sin, plus one "unknown" epispode thrown
in. - AH
