Re: BWAHAHAAAAAAAA:))

Godard has never been my cup of tea. I think there are better directors. The Japanese one - well, you have not destroyed my willingness to watch it... yet... A cross between Bergman and Tarkovsky? You mean there was some "between"? Like you could put a knife between the Sacrifice and your typical Ingmar? Using the same scenery, same actors and the most famous camera man... I actually liked it, but as much as I would like a museum-quality sword replica.

You didn't mention Khrustalev before.

There were actually few good seconds in Malkovich - I thought the first scenes with low ceiling were fun, but it wore out quickly as they tried to get too much out of it. They should just have left it alone right there, with you guessing what this was all about, but this being a typical American trash they just HAD to explain it. They don't have any clue that the unspoken things and unfinished sentences work stronger... idiots.

Ah, and one more good bit - Malkovich's dance.

BTW - have you seen the Living in Oblivion? A definitely worth seeing low-budget work, I enjoyed it.
