Saw this film as a kid and really enjoyed it; however, in a recent viewing
I was rather dissapointed; namely, it seemed highly improbable to me that
the scientist's head would be transferred to the fly and vice versa;
but their brains remained intact. In this convenient way, he could still think and
communicate with his wife, even though the fly's thoughts were gradually
and inexorably taking over. Just didn't make a lot of sense to me, even
though James Clavell, whom I like as a writer, scripted it. - AH
