I remember reading your aversion of him.
Back then he was the symbol of the 60´s 70´s, and as you correctly stated the alter ego of Truffaut, the man with many a wom(e)n.
At the time I found them passably entertaining, they were " Zeitgeist "..ButI don´t care for those films, they just belongs at the time when we had my freind and I a new girl every day...the sexual revolution as they tell us....I appreciate your first part!
