The second lousiest thing about the movie--next to Christina Ricci--is the direction. Third lousiest thing is the soundtrack. Fourth lousiest thing is the dry-as-dirt cinematography, and the lack of any distinctive style--the movie should've been much grittier, with some grainier film stock, to begin with.The soundtrack, WTF, half the time she apparently thought she was making some cutesey teen movie.
Charlize Theron was good, but to tell the truth I think her makeup did at least fifty per cent of the work.
