In film as in life there are certain constants, and one of those is that Conservative folks, bless 'em, tend to be anal retentive. When one is anal or intellectually impacted, if you prefer, there is a constant desire to see caca exposed and a great relief when it is finally revealed! Victor may seem rigid and inflexible, yes, but it must be personally satisfying for him to feel like he accomplishes something relevent on a regular basis. In the long run, Victor is his own worst enema.AuPh ;^)
