Home Films/DVD Asylum

Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

Long one of my favorite films and

far better than the 1960s remake with Peter O'Toole. (O'Toole was fine but the movie was a big mistake).

Another fine film that has a similar feeling to Donat's "Goodbye Mr. Chips" is a 1955 John Ford film called "The Long Gray Line." It starred Tyrone Power and it's as sentimental without being silly or cloying as is "Mr. Chips."
