Charleze Theron's performance here is one of the great ones in cinema history. She has already been awarded the Screen Actor's Guild trophy for Best Actress and it will be a crime if she doesn't win the Academy Award Best Actress Sunday night. Whoever said on this board that "it was all makeup" (paraphrase) is way off base; Theron has adopted a completly original and "non-herself' set of mannerisms and expressions that give life to a briliant performance.
