I thought "Lost in Translation" was a terrific movie. For American tastes jaded by sex and violence, it's a little underwhelming. But Murray's performance is excellent - very nuanced. The movie gets under your skin and resonates. It may not make you forget where you parked your car (my test for an excellent film) but it stays with you nonetheless.
