1. Movie you hate but everyone else loves: HATE RIGHT? As in 1 star
or less?Lolita, Eyes Wide Shut, Crash, Excalibur, Ace Ventura - both, Star Wars Episode 1, Bad Lietenant, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Cliffhanger(which wasn't), Cujo, Damage, Death and the Maiden, Devil in a Blue Dress, Die Hard 2, Dune, The Evil Dead, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Independence Day, The Outsiders, The Patriot, The Piano, Trees Lounge,
2. Movie you love but everyone else hates:
The American President, Awakenings, Grand Canyon, Invasion of the Bodysnatchers(1978), The Money Pit, Notting Hill(exellent performance by Julia Roberts), Oscar and Lucinda, The English Patient, Outland, A Perfect World, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Red Dragon, The Rock, Splash, Star Trek: Nemesis, Starship Troopers, Sunshine, Terminator 1&2, V: The original miniseries and the Final Battle,
3. This scene makes you cry EVERY TIME:
Spoiler for Planes, Trains and Automobiles:
When Neil Page goes back to the train station and finds out Del Griffith is homeless and his wife has been dead for 8 years. You see it coming a mile off but john Candy is so strong in this movie that well it verclemps me every time.Schindler's List - the whole movie practically,
The final sequence in Mr. Holland's Opus, when E.T. leaves Elliot, and on and on.
4. This scene makes you laugh no matter HOW MANY TIMES you see it:
Ohh there are many. Young Frankenstein "What Hump", Abe someone...Abe Who Abe normal - yes I do think that was the name on the jar" "Wait! I was going to make Espresso" "What knockers" "Frau Blugher", YES YES he was my .... Boyfriend" ("Wearwolf?..."There wolf...there castle" ... Why are you talking like that? I thought you wanted to, no! Suit yourself then.
Airplaine. Ted Striker's drinking problem as he throws the drink into his own face. And of course the blow up co-pilot.
Pulp Fiction makes me smile all the way through but the watch scene is absolutely hilarious.
Sprigtime for Hitler sequence in the Producers as well as all scenes with Gene Wilder's blue Blanky.
Dr. Strangelove...there's no fighting in here this is the war room."
5. This scene still scares you:
The Scene with Regan answering the doctor's questions in the Exorcist. The make-up effects in that film still unnerve me ... despite all the fun people make of it --- alone late with the lights off that movie still creeps me out.
