Chronopolis is an AMAZING piece of film work, and something I feel privileged to have in my collection. It rests very high on my list of favorite animation works and is just barely edged out by the short films of Harry Smith as a contender for top o' the list. I have, for some time, been trying to track down some more of the mysterious Piotr Kamler's other work with no luck. I am seriously entertaining the idea of attending a major touring exhibition of Polish animation and experimental film that is playing in Toronto and Cincinnati in the next few weeks, both within driving distance for me. One of my primary motives is being able to view the works of Piotr Kamler that are featured. It's a hard sell, but I'm trying to talk another film-buff buddy of mine into making it an excuse for a road trip to Toronto. Wish me luck!
