("A heart in Winter"). This story of unrequited love and the mysteries of sexual attraction is a unique and fascinating combination of a static film that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The beautiful Emmanuelle Beart ("Manon of the Spring") plays a concert violinist (quite convincingly) who is drawn toward her lover's friend/busines partner, an incredibly cold, unfeeling man.
Very sensual yet very discreet at the same time. A magnificent film by director Claude Sautet.
