Thanks for the article, Clark. I've got mixed feelings on this...I AM a fan of The Stooges, at least the films with Curly (I mentioned below that I think he was a genius of physical comedy).
Along with this, I've started to admire the work of Crowe of late...he's much more of an actor than I originally gave him credit for...however, I doubt that he is the least bit "funny"...so, comedy may stretch his acting ability.
The only F. Bros. film that I feel had any merit was Something About Mary...the rest, ufortunately, (imo) were sucessful and dumb and dumber.
Favorite Stooge line...
Curly, as he "shaves" a block of ice in a barber chair:
"So, are you married or happy?"
(you probably have to see it).
