Re: Egg... egg... the Japanese egg obsession?

My parents could never get me to eat the raw egg rice mixture; I just didn't like the slimy texture (this coming from a guy who likes natto). In Japan, scrambled eggs are always undercooked. I worried about microbial food poisoning and avidin toxicity.

Want something icky-er? My cousin puts mayonnaise on his rice, no soy sauce.
