Movie Review: Kill Bill vol 2.

Not too sweet, not too tart, not too salty, not too peppery. A fun, cute little movie. A pleasant diversion. The problem with movies these days in general, is the hype and promotion. And also the current nature of the biz itself, blockbuster or bust. I was a little miffed at the opening being black and white. At first, finding it to be a forced perspective. Just as I'm starting to dig the b&w, the film jumps to color. Coulda used sepia, or washed out golden hues, then gradually dial up the color temp (or horrors, done the whole thing in b&w). I just found it a little disconcerting, a distraction. My only quibble (that, and twenty bucks doesn't get you soap in the movie palace's restroom).
