I liked Jackie Brown more than Dogs as well.

SO far out of 5 ------ 3 recommended.

Pulp Fiction ***** Number 2 on my list of best films of the 1990s.
Jackie Brown ***1/2 (Made the top ten for its year).
Kill Bill Vol. 1. ***1/2
Reservoir Dogs **1/2
True Romance (Sorta Counts) **1/2
From Dusc Till Dawn **
Four Rooms *

I'm not quite convinced of Tarantino based off of one lone masterpiece - that said I'm always excited to see what he's going to make - and that is rare. And in his defense topping Pulp Fiction is very tough for him or anyone else working today to do. Heck for that matter after watching prized classics - it's doubtful I'll see anything from yesteryear that will best it. Citizen Kane and Casablanca and 8 & 1/2 are weaker films IMO so what's left?
