Guess everyone has read that Sony is negotiating to buy MGM.
I once saw a PBS special about how these big business conglomerates were buying the movie studios, and to our utter amazement, the quality of the movies went down.
Of course, movies have always been a business, so profit has always been an issue. It's just that American cinema produces so much crap these days . . . Policy Academy #7 . . .
