Though a bit far fetched this is a taut and well acted story about a veteran police hostage negotiator (Samuel L. Jackson) who, when framed for murder by corrupt cops beacuse he was on to a pension fund scam, takes hostages at police headquarters and ends up negotiating with another trained negotiator played by Kevin Spacey.
The DVD surround sound is particularly well done and adds to the suspense and excitement. The film start with a bang and never lets up. Recommended.
