Acording to Amazon the aspect ratio is 2.2 x 1, which is the Todd AO process aspect ratio. This may be misleading however because according to the Widescreen Museum the highly touted supposedly correct 2.76 x 1 aspect ratio used for the Ben Hur DVD loses picture information because a "smaller" wide screen negative was used for the transfer. You can see this discussion and frame examples on their extensive web site and any visit there is a fascinating experience.
