Vic,I agree that it stunk.
I watched "The Killing" on my new Goo Systems DIY screen tonight and I really like this film - every time that I see it. There is no doubt about how its going to end, but the look on Hayden's face as the money blows all over the tarmack in the wind is great.
BTW - I know you already have a screen, but if you are ever looking for another very good screen for peanuts - I highly endorse the Goo Systems paint for DIY screens. It is labor intensive, but I am very happy with the results. With the money I saved, I was able to pick up a Sony HS20 projector and Denon DVD-5900 so the trade-off between that and a Stewart was well worth it.
I used a piece of 3/4 MDF (veneered), which I sanded and primed numerous times until I was satisfied with the surface. 2 coats of Goo Digital Grey basecoat, 2 coats of Goo Digital Grey topcoat, upholstered frame to make it look official, and hanging bracket.
Total Cost - $320 for 84" 16:9 screen
It does weight a lot though which is going to make shipping interesting.
