I think the movie was rated "G", not PG-13, when it came out. Or perhaps Siskel and Ebert recommended it for children (we were living in Chicago then and at first they were a local show, I think). Whatever the case may be, my wife and I took our 4-year old son to see this "Disney-type" nature flick.We weren't naive--both of us were regular movie goers. At any rate, I liked it, but we had to leave early because my son couldn't handle it.
Please don't threaten to call CPS--the statute of limitations has expired!
