Not a movie but Billie Holiday music was used quite nicely in an episode of Once and Again.
The episode was called Gardenia and it was in the last season. I dont know if the last season of Once and Again was ever released on DVD or if you could even find reruns of it because it was canned soon after featuring a young lesbian relationship (THE HORROR!).
