When this movie was out in the theaters I pretty much ignored it. I don't know why except it just looked corny. Since it came on DVD I noticed there was a director's cut. Now I was intrigued. I really hate how the studios butcher movies for the masses. It took me a while but eventually I rented it. Doubt still lingered and it sat there on my coffee table for a few days. Finally last night with nothing else to watch I watched it.To say I liked it is an understatement! I had goose bumps for almost 10 minutes after it was over. I could complain about paradox problems but why bother. It's fiction. And it was fun, and it took some chances. I loved it! For those on the fence, just watch it. I didn't see the theatrical version for comparison so I can't compare. Why bother when the director's cut is on the same disc.
