...because it was assigned as homework in my daughter's freshman Catholic High School World History class. Although I am a Kerry supporter and intensely dislike Bush and the things he's done, I was surprised that this film was assigned, at least without something showing the other side's views. I asked my daughter what she was supposed to get out of it and her response was that it was an example of a political viewpoint. We spent a lot of time during the movie discussing "propaganda" and how facts can be used and sometimes distorted to show a particular viewpoint. While I saw nothing new in the film, it certainly does paint W. as a puppet/moron.
