WS Churchill was an awful man from many view points, and publicly, eg. that siege before WW1. BUT he got Hitler dead to rights, which is enough for me. He is satirisable, and the Goon Show esp. Peter Selers were regularly admonished for it. Their satire and mimicry was cruel but fair, IMO, YMMV.
