Chinatown - great story, great plot twists, great script, great
acting (Nicholson, Dunaway, Huston)The Wild Bunch - best western ever. period.
Bringing up Baby - wildly funny and maybe Hepburn's best pic.
Fantasia - the imagination needed to create this film has not
yet been equaled, imo.Ben Hur - the spectacle of all spectacles. Seems a little dated
today, but still a magnificent flick.I realize I am not as knowledgeable as many here in Film Asylum, but
I believe these five will stand with any other five American films
(I know nothing of foreign film).MIke
