I'd agree with the mixed bag comment. In fact I'd go a bit further and call it more than a little disappointing. I couldnt escape the feeling I was watching the collision between a relationship movie, Ferris Beullers Day Off and Empire Records. In short - a bit lacking in originality and not really a movie that ever fully took off as a comedy. Of course I had watched the DVD of Grosse Point Blank recently and the comedic fire and engaging characters of that movie makes this one pale in comparison, but then this movie wasn't really a pure comedy so that may be a bit unfair...joe
