Its a running joke that John Landis used to insert in his films, I don't think its a real film. For example, in "American Werewolf in London" the werewolf guy meets his dead friend in a theater showing "See You Next Wednesday". If memory serves there's even a few glimpses of "SYNW" on the screen in the background.
