Gellar proves she's a tv actress...
The problem is that "The Others" and "The Sixth Sense" raised the bar for modern thrillers (as "Jaws" and "The Exorcist" did).
Still, the production is first-rate and the Japanese actors do nicely.
The male American protagonist is almost as forgettable as Gellar.
