Well, they did a good job of copying the atmosphere and grotesque elements of SEVEN. Too bad the rest of this film didn't follow through. It was hard to like any characters in the movie--they were all void of socially redeeming factors. I wished they would all die by the 20 minute mark.
Though the plot was semi-ingenious, it was marred mostly by the star: Elwes. If I were Cary, I would have sued to keep this out of distribution. Not his finest work. Both his makeup and acting were beyond over the top.
I should have walked down the lobby to see Grudge again.
