A nice little British film with (a very young) Kenneth Branagh as D.H. Lawrence and Helen Mirren as the married Aristocrat that he falls in love with. Told in alternating story lines between modern and turn of the century periods, the modern does not hold up against the D.H. Lawrence story, but a nice diversion if you're in the mood for a quiet little period film.Made for British TV, I think.
