Acting takes a back seat to derring do in this high speed thriller of a bus with a speed triggered bomb planted by a retired cop turned madman. Wooden actor Keanu Reeves and trickley sweet Sandra Bullock combine forces to save the bus. Dennis Hopper chews up the scenery as the mad bomber. Some of the stunts ARE spectacular and the DVD offers an aggressive DTS 5.1 sound track. The bus sequence is bookended by similar excitments in an elevator shafyt and a runaway subway train. Worth a look.
