it is a biopic and like most biopics tends to glorify its subject...and of course I don't know how much is true and how much is fictionalized. But on its own terms, it is a very interesting story about a dedicated scientist who decides human sexuality is an important area to explore using science, and the wild consequences on his personal life and society. It is well made, none of the acting can be faulted. In many ways, I enjoy straight documentary more than fictionalized biopics, but it is certainly a fascinating character study. Have not seen Closer, it got very mixed reviews, would be low on my own list.
