The first half is reminescent of the best work of Italian neo-realist directors, through it lack the deepth of them, and the deep emotion, I was amazed that this kind of film were still possible, I mean from a country like Iran or so that would be normal, but from an industrial world...
But the other half turn sour ( or is it me? ) the camera stay too long fixed, the actors started to breathe as if they were going under water, there was a claustrophobic feeling, like one you have when you slip in an diver suit, then the core of the story a madening love between two brothers, the younger one being like a sublimated homosexual.
It was a little like a nightmare, you never had a feeling of deliverance.
A GREAT missed occasion.
Still more than worth.
