This was one of the best shows ever to be on television. It displayed Moore's quirky genius and knack for highlighting human injustices that occur far too often in this land of plenty. In one of the "The Awful Truth" episodes, Moore highlighted the brutal killing of Amadou Diallo, the West African immigrant who was shot nineteen times by New York City policeman as he went into his pocket to get his ID. After Mr. Diallo was gunned down he was found to only be carrying a wallet. Moore then staged a "wallet" amnesty program (similar to the gun turn in programs found in many cities today) in front of the police station where the policemen came from. I remember one scene where Moore was standing in front of a 4 or 5-foot stack of wallets in front of this police station. I think it definitely got the point across. This DVD collection just moved to the number one spot on my list of must have DVD's.
