for getting so many great performances out of so many actors. His virtuosity obviously not only extends from his camera work and vision but to performing talents as wekll:
Daniel Day Lewis, Madeline Stowe, Wes Studi and all the others mentioned. How many directors can you really say that about?

And Mann is really an "action" director. That's pretty damned amazing when you think about it.
